Please join me and the Kitsap Humane Society to celebrate my newest middle grade graphic novel, Dog Trouble. We will be holding a donation drive for the Kitsap Humane Society starting October 26th at the bookstore, so feel free to drop off donations from this wish list.

SCBWI Illustration Schowcase at the Seattle Convention Center!

I have three pieces at the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) exhibit, which will run through July 15. There will be an official “opening” on April 6th with SCBWI members, friends and families for a meet and draw! I will be participating in this fantastic event. Hope to see you there!

We’ll explore how memoirs or stories inspired by real-life experiences, are a perfect springboard into the medium. We’ll briefly discuss comic-making basics, process, pitching to agents/publishers and how to dive in!
